Erin has been based in New York, Chicago, and happily again, St. Louis. Her Avalon acting credits include Agnes of God (Dr. Livingstone), The
Country Girl (Georgie), Quilters, Bus Stop (Grace), Molly Sweeney (Molly), and
Boston Marriage (Claire). She also had the pleasure of directing
John Contini in his Kevin Kline Award winning performance as Barrymore.
Erin's New York credits include roles at La MaMa, The NY
Fringe Festival, Musical Theatre Works, The Samuel Beckett, and Wings.
Regional appearances include Body Politic, Dallas Summer Musicals,
Meadowbrook Music Festival, and First Stage Milwaukee.
In addition to Avalon, she has appeared in St. Louis at The Black Rep, Stages, The Muny, Variety Children's Theatre, and Insight Theatre
Company.
Her array of film and TV work includes Saul Bellows Gift (BBC), Since You've Been Gone, Reach the Rock, and the promo for Vincentennial, plus many commercials and industrials. Erin holds a BFA
in Theatre from Stephens College and has served as guest faculty at Stephens'
Okoboji Summer Theatre. She has been a member of Actors' Equity Association since 1987.
The one woman show she wrote and performs about growing up
in a Native American/multi-racial family, Portrait of My People,
was
nominated for a 2009 Kevin Kline Award for Outstanding Production for
Young
Audiences.
Erin is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was raised by her full-blood Native American maternal grandmother in addition to her parents. She is an enrolled member of The Cherokee Nation and a direct descendant of noted Shawnee leader, Tecumseh.
